## 6. Sheduled Maintenance Works

> **NOTE:** (sign “+” marks works, that must be carried out)
> **NOTE:** Before starting with the sheduled maintenance it is necessary:
- [ ] a) to check (according to log book data) the remaining service life of aggregates, pyrotechnical cartridges, testing terms of high pressure gas bottles;
- [ ] b) to check the implementation of directives, indications, up-dating according to bulletins;
- [ ] c) to discharge bail out cartridges and EKSR-46 (ÝÊÑÐ-46);
- [ ] d) to defuel external tanks. Check the remainder of fuel in the fuselage tanks, which must not exceed 700 litres;
- [ ] e) to carry out the control inspection of the aircraft;
- [ ] f) to prepare the aircraft for fuselage rear part de-rigging and also all necessary equipment, control and measuring instrumentation, devices and tooling;
- [ ] g) to lift up the aircraft on ground jacks;
- [ ] h) to prepare electric power source and ground installation for creating pressure in hydraulic system.
> **NOTE:** [TABLE]

## 7. Periodical works during short-time storage

> **NOTE:** If aircraft is removed from flying for 15 days and more, it must be conservated.
**Cautions**
> **CAUTION:** 1.Fuel system must be filled during all storage period.
> **CAUTION:** 2.In a case of fuel dump fuel system must be conservated not later than within 24 hours from fuel dump.
> **NOTE:** If aircraft is not flying and is not conservated it is necessary:
**7.1. After each 15⁺³₋₂ days**
- [ ] 1.Carry out pre-flight inspection. Sand areas, damaged by corrosion, using smooth grit paper, then polish them with GOI (ÃÎÈ) paste, wash with clean petrol and coat with conservating grease. Remove dirt and dust from the aircraft.
- [ ] 2.Coat wheel jack rods and shock absorber rods with CIATIM-201 (ÖÈÀÒÈÌ-201) grease.
**7.2. After each 30⁺⁶₋₃ days**
- [ ] 3.Carry out works, which are to be carried out after each 15 days.
- [ ] 4.Examine parts, fabricated of magnesium alloy
- [ ] 5.Dump fuel sediment for water detection purposes (5 litres from each dumping point).
- [ ] 6.Run the engine.
- [ ] 7.Carry out landing gear and flaps test retraction and extension using main and emergency systems. During liquid discharge from the emergency system check nitrogen pressure in hydraulic accumulators using manometer in the cockpit.
**7.3. After each 3 months ⁺¹⁸₋₉ days**
- [ ] 8.Carry out woks, which are to be carried out after each 30 days.
- [ ] 9.Check condition of aircraft and engine fuel system, paying special attention to leak-proofness of joints.
**7.4. After each 6 months ⁺³⁶₋₁₈ days**
- [ ] 10.Carry out woks, which are to be carried out after each 3 months.
- [ ] 11.Check canopy jettisoning mechanism functioning on the ground, check condition of mechanism locks and hinges, refresh lubrication. Check ejection gun operation by primer washer firing (firing works should be carried out by armourer).
- [ ] 12.Check cockpits pressurization.
> **NOTE:** Remark. Before using aircraft for flying after 6 months ⁺³⁶₋₁₈ days of storage (parking) carry out special-purpose inspections and checks after 50⁺¹⁰₋₅ hours.
